A Great Year HA!

I still receive adds, coupons and fliers in the mail for 'our baby'. They don't bother me any more. I have been getting them forever. It is my own stupid fault. I know we have chatted about this before. Remember me getting the box of formula on my due date?

I also continue to get babystyle emails. I can't get rid of them. I have points saved up. My little bit of hope stored down near my toenails thinks I could get pregnant and use them again.

SO today I get an email... "Thanks for a great year!" Well it wasn't that great of a year for me. Maybe for them. I am sure they had amazing business. It goes on to further kill me...

Happy anniversary as a member of babystyle Rewards!

To celebrate we're giving you 50 FREE points
toward earning money-saving perks like FREE
Shipping, FREE Gift Wrap, and FREE Gifts!

Any points you earned over the last year have expired, but
your new FREE points will give you a head start on the next
12 months.
I guess I was stupid! I lost my points. But we are celebrating the shitty year with 50 new points. Last year on this very day I was worrying about my numbers not doubling. I stepped out in faith and bought some clothes after seeing the sweet heartbeat just 2 days later.

I guess it is time to unsubscribe. STUPID STUPID STUPID!~

Yep you saw it here! 2 posts in one day!

I'm so sorry, Sunny. {{{{Sunny}}}}

I'm so sorry. Another example of the blind heartlessness of mass marketing.

I forgot if I commented to you since Sunday, but it was really nice to meet you. Your name suits you.

Argh! Use the salt they rub in your wound to rim a glass instead...

I think Tracey has the right idea!
It does seem that even when you "unsubscribe" to those mass-marketing things, you still end up getting them.
Maybe you should send them an email and make them feel like crap - you could get your points back for future use! (Still hopeful here!)

This happens to me about once a month. I get excited thinking I have a package only to find a tin of Enfamil. I successfully got off the JC Penney baby list, but I can't seem to shake Enfamil. I have made a vow NEVER to buy Enfamil products as long as I live.

Aside from the other sucky aspects of this, that's a kind of obnoxious way to tell you that your points have expired.

Now that just really stinks! I finally got all of the emails to stop from baby related places. However, my subscription to FitPregnancy is another story. Care to guess what was waiting for me in my mailbox today? Today, the day when I am trying to decide if I should pursue IVF next month?!?!?! Maybe it's a sign?

I hope the next year is better. That is what I'm praying for.

i too like chris still have my fit pregnancy subscription. when it comes, i just stick it on a shelf and save it for the later I hope will come. Those email ones though....I've unsubscribed and subscribed 3 times now - boy does that suck! Remove yourself, don't torture yourself.

Yup, I'm on tons of mailing lists too. Plus all the magazines and stuff. I really need to just collect them by the door and run them over to the hospital or a shelter every month...

I, for some reason, have never been able to get off the baby center emails! I've unsubscribed a few times and yet just the other day I got an email about how my 9 month old baby was growing...

I'll be thinking of you as you adventure into the land of in-laws and reminders of last year. I love you and will be praying!!

You, too? I continue to get a weekly email from an OB/GYN scientific board revealing still more causes of infertility -- like I need to know more!!? But for some reason my unsubscribe doesn't seem to work.

My Stork.Net emails now go directly in my spam box and it feels oddly good to see them there. Anyway, just wanted to commiserate with you...

Ah, stupid emails! I just registered with some diaper and formula sites, and now am wondering if that was a really dumb thing to do.
