Happy Hour

Thursday nights are happy hour with my girls. I LIVE for Thursday nights. We eat, drink and bitch about life and infertility. Today I was left with just Grumps. I love Grumps but happy hour isn't the same.

BUT it was still super nice on a Thursday of the first week of school. I enjoyed beer (I told you I learned how to drink it and enjoy it!) and catfish. Grumps enjoyed margaritas and enchiladas. I realized right then how I truly can enjoy life without children. Don't get me wrong. I would LOVE to be pregnant this month even though AF is pretty much here. Her dog Spot is hitting hard at the door. But the longer we go on this journey the more we enjoy our life.

If we ever have kids we will have to say, "Good-bye" to out of the blue happy hour moments. I guess it is why we are enjoying them now. We went out twice this week for happy hour.

I LOVE MY LIFE!!!

I am sure my next post will be ugly. It is like when you say to a friend, "My husband and I haven't had a fight in forever." That night you have the worst fight in the history of your marriage!

I hope you don't have an ugly post next. I think it's a great attitude. Being happy with what is in front of you. Knowing you can have a beer and relax and enjoy it.

Here's a toast to your first week tomorrow!

I'm so glad that you are in such a happy place right now. Enjoy it!

I love how happy you are. Happy hour does tend to do that doesn't it? Though I'm not sure I'm capable of attending such functions not that school started. I need my game face every day for my students, and a hangover, no matter how weak, can puncture my dam of authority! Tomorrow I'll be enjoying happy hour, but that's because it's a Friday... After our second week of school, I need a drink!

Stay Away Bad Day!!!

Happiness is moments where you can say,

"I LOVE MY LIFE!"

Yay for these moments, and kudos to you for recognizing them!

Here's hoping the I-Love-My-Life euphoria lasts for at least a full week. :-)

Thank you so much for all of your support, it really means a lot to me. Looking forward to seeing you at brunch!

Yay for the happy place you're in!

But the idea of someone named Grumps at happy hour somehow strikes me as a bit of an oxymoron.

You know, as crappy as IF is, it does make me treasure those precious moments of happiness and normalcy...more than I probably would otherwise.

As for AF- Yeah, she's coming for me next. Oh well. I see a rum & coke hovering on my not-so-distant horizon.

Enjoy yourself- Happy Hour Rocks!

Glad you had a good night! I think those same thoughts sometimes. We have to appreciate the good times we've got.

Please continue to LOVE YOUR LIFE!!!

Hope your happy mood is continuing...

Honey - I'm taking a page out of your book. Tomorrow is my DH's birthday so we're going out tonight with friends where wine is going to play a central role -- and dinner will be at a Greek restaurant complete with belly dancers. Opa!
