Setting Sail

Just in case our boat sinks and you never hear from me again, Grumps and I are leaving tonight for a cruise to Belize and other beautiful islands. The ship sets sail on Sunday. If you hear of our cruise in the news you know what happened to me.

I know you are thinking, "WOW a romantic getaway." Nope it is with the family. If you have been a follower you know about my family and all that jazz. I know we will have a good time but lots of prayer has gone forth to make it a good time. Grumps told me to go get sun if they drive me nuts.
So Happy Thanksgiving early to all of you!

I would so be ditching the family for time in the sun! Even if I did enjoy their company, they can come out and see me.

Come back with a lovely sun-kissed tan.

Why are these things so much more difficult than they should be? Have a good trip!

Oh I am SO jealous! My family doesn't get along very well together but I assure you I could have a good time on a cruise like that no matter who was along! With any luck your room is not near theirs! ;)

Have fun!

Have a fantastic time!! My whole family did a cruise for thanksgiving last year, we had a blast, although it was a little wierd when some of the other international passengers asked us what thanksgiving was!

Enjoy!

Sunny-

I found myself drawn back to your blog tonight - it's been a while since I've checked in, and an hour or more has passed as I've read about your journey over the past year. I have a special place in my heart for you, and I am amazed at your strength.

This year, (into my second year of marriage), I have been blessed to find a wonderful church and an amazing Sunday School class and Bible Study group. I am becoming a stronger Christian and it is such a wonderful change in my life.

You continue to be in my prayers, and I will pass your name onto my prayer buddies. I will pray that God shows you His plan (because I ALWAYS want to KNOW the plan!!!!) and that you find peace with whatever He has in store for you.

As a side note, I am still teaching second grade and I have 17 (I had to brag) sweet and wonderful students in my class this year. Our new website business is going quite well, too, so it has been busy around here for us. I am looking forward to the holidays and a break from the every day stresses.

I miss seeing you, and I have subscribed to your blog now so that I can keep up with you on a regular basis!!!

Have a wonderful cruise, even if it's not a romantic get-away.

I went on a trip and came back to 100 unread blogs... Know the feeling. Not to worry, you'll catch up when you're back, we know you're there!
